Song & Story Programs for Spiritual Gatherings

Bill & Eli Perras
Performers of Original, Inspired, Acoustic Folk & Blues

Bearing Responsibility is a message on how to avoid social, political, and education apathy and how we can work at the grass roots level to overcome a broken society. Below is a two part video, that depicts our deliverery of our song and story programs.

Inspirational Change Through Music deals with the many trials we have dealt with in our lives such as raising a blind and deaf child, learning to speak to each and everyone with the dignity they deserve, dealing with life threatening health problems, and how we overcame these adversities with the power of prayer.

Civil Rights for Black History Month presents some facts related to notable civil right icons, Dr. Carter G. Woodson, the Tuskegee Airmen, Harry T. Moore, Martin Luther King, Jr. and other influential people that led up to the Civil Rights movement.
This program is applicable to dates in February and dates surrounding Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend.

Bill & Eli often share their songs and stories at Sunday morning sermons and weekday workshops at various gatherings. They have performed for primarily for Unitarian Universalist, Center for Spiritual Living (Religious Science) and Metaphysical Chapels, but are very open to presenting their messages to other spiritual congregations.

Bill & Eli currently have four separate 25-30 minute song and story programs, They are titled, "Bearing Responsibility", "Our Planet - Our Habitat",  Inspirational Change Through Music", and "Civil Right for Black History Month" (see short synopsis' below), Each of these thematic programs has story related to the song creating a powerful and uplifting experience and message. They are always glad to include a Sunday morning service onto the tour itinerary. If desired, they would also be more that happy to lead all of the music, that would include them leading the congregation during the musical prelude, offering and postlude.
Bill & Eli's Song and Story programs are perfect to fill an open pulpit on Sundays due to ministerial vacations as well as for lay led congregations.
As for weekday workshops, in order to fill a 1 to 1 ½ hour timeframe, It is suggested a question and answer period follow the presentation.

Since music has an unique way of reaching out to people, and since Bill & Eli have a sizable fan-base, a fringe benefit is that attendance at well-publicized music services is often 20-30% higher than average.

Rev. Emile Gauvreau (Center for Spiritual Living - Cape Coral, FL)  "Our spiritual community thoroughly enjoyed the heartfelt message that you and Eli delivered at our Reflection Connection last night. Thank you so much for sharing yourselves with us."

Rev. Mike Perry (Roanoke Metaphysical Chapel - Roanoke, VA)  "It was our pleasure to have you at the Roanoke Metaphysical Chapel.  The only negative criticism I've heard is: "I wish it had lasted longer!" We would certainly love to have you both join us again.  Both of your are beautiful, loving souls, and it was truly an inspiration to meet you both."

Charley Barcelo (Community Unitarian Universalist Church - New Smyrna Beach, FL)  "I wish to sincerely thank you for your presentation this past Sunday. As I said a picture is worth a thousand words and music soothes the soul. With your words and music you painted a picture of Inspiration and compassion and of love. It is amazing just how deep the picture is. Your presentation and the inspiration, which it portrayed, will stay deeply imbedded in my mind. I look forward to the next time we are together."
